In The Mood: My Nordstrom Anniversary Purchases

Happy Friday everyone! Today  is the day!  The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially open to the public.  I’m sure most of you know that this sale is the best time to stock up on some great fall essentials.  If you’ve had your eye on a particular item, there’s 3 reasons why you shouldn’t hesitate to add it to your shopping bag.  First, Nordstrom offers free shipping and free returns, so if you’re on the fence about an item or it doesn’t fit correctly, just return it – pretty simple.  Second, your size and favorite colors are selling out fast.  Hopefully, Nordstrom will continue to restock their inventory, so don’t give up if your item is no longer available. I’m definitely keeping my fingers crossed for a few items to pop back up that are still on my wishlist.   And finally, the sale ends on August 7th and the prices will go back up on August 8th.  The only thing worse than seeing an item that got away is seeing it get away at a higher price point.  Don’t let this happen to you ;)

In the Mood – Anthropologie’s Summer Tag Sale Is Here!

Get excited everyone! Anthropologie's Summer Tag Sale is finally underway with over 800+ new markdowns where you can enjoy up to 50% off the original price! I didn’t realize the tag sale was getting ready to start when I posted my top 5 favorites yesterday, so I’m sorry for the Anthro overload.

This morning I woke up to the news that Anthropologie is offering an additional 20% off of all the sale items.  I’m not sure how long the additional sale will last, but I’m definitely going to take advantage of it while it’s here.  Will you?

Current Mood – J.Crew New Arrivals

 I’m headed to J.Crew later this afternoon to pick up a couple of the new arrivals that I’m pretty sure will sell out soon. I didn’t bite the bullet in time for this skirt and this skirt, so I decided that I won’t let it happen again. Lessons learn – if you like it, then buy it before it’s sold out. 

I know that today I’m definitely going to pick up the Gold Foil LeafPencil Skirt, the DrapeySleeveless Tee and maybe something else that catches my eye.  Below are some of my favorites that are sure to put anyone in a good mood!
